Teaching the science of swimming since 2003!


Rachel Hickle: 

Coach Rachel has over 11 years of experience swimming and teaching swim and 7 years of lifeguarding experience at water parks and community pools. She has a passion for aquatic safety and equipping young children to be able to enjoy water responsibly for a lifetime. Coach Rachel loves developing relationships with the children she teaches and watching them succeed.  She is especially skilled in developing strong stroke technique in our Beginning & Advanced Stroke classes.

Rachel was born and raised in East Tennessee and holds a degree in biology from Union University. She is currently pursuing her MDiv at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest.  She loves all things Dolly Parton. If she’s not by the pool, she can probably be found in the kitchen testing out pound cake recipes.

Coach Rachel has completed over 50 hours of training to learn our method.  She currently teaches Survival, Kicks and Tricks, FUNdations, Beginning Stroke, and Advanced Stroke.
