Teaching the science of swimming since 2003!

Coach Kea recently moved back from Texas with a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Dallas. While in Dallas she worked as a Research Assistant and collaborated on several projects with the psychology department. Coach Kea hopes to pursue a PhD in clinical psychology here in the triangle.  Kea is also a former YMCA lifeguard and special need's swim instructor, who has always loved the water. She was drawn to Phd Swim school because of the excellent teaching techniques and the amazing results.

Coach Kea loves working with children in the pool and seeing their confidence grow. As a water bug herself she hopes to foster the love of swimming in her students. If she is not at Phd swim school, you can find her loitering around various coffee shops in Durham on a mission to find the best espresso.
